Sunrises

One of the great pleasures of surf casting is walking the beach at first light and enjoying the sunrise.  From the colorful painted sunrises in the Fall to the misty gray sunrises in the Spring, you witness not only the beauty in the sky, but also the shifting landscapes and changing activities.  Nocturnal creatures retire for the day while diurnal creatures wake from their sleep.  The light level is very easy on the eyes and the steep angles of light cast long shadows.  With few, if any, people around, it is a tranquil and pensive time; it is a great time to enjoy Tai Chi or Qi Gong.  I hope you enjoy these photos and get the opportunity to meet the sunrise some time soon.
